What a Ride!

Over the past two Saturdays, the energy inside Galleria Mall was nothing short of electric.

If anyone ever doubts the sheer volume of raw, unadulterated talent hiding in KwaZulu-Natal, Galleria’s Got Talent 2026 is the ultimate proof that KZN is an absolute powerhouse of creativity.

From breathtaking vocalists and dynamic dancers to incredible musicians and performance acts, watching these contestants step onto the stage with everything on the line was awe-inspiring.

These aren’t just hobbyists. Many are artists pouring their heart and soul into turning their passion into a lifelong career.

The Heavyweights Behind the Event

A competition of this magnitude needs industry giants to guide it. Keeping the energy sky-high and running the show was our brilliant MC:

  • Danny Guselli: One of KZN’s favourite voices and a beloved East Coast Radio personality, Danny is a master of ceremonies who knows exactly how to keep a crowd energised and make every contestant feel like a superstar.

And bringing their massive expertise to the judging panel:

  • Kyle Deutsch: An award-winning musician and Idols SA star whose chart-topping hits and years of industry experience give him a unique ear for spotting star quality and commercial potential
  • Vanessa Marawa: A media powerhouse, Survivor SA winner, and seasoned radio and TV personality who truly understands the grit, presence, and charisma it takes to captivate an audience.
  • Lloyd Cele: A SAMA award-winning artist and Idols SA runner-up who knows first-hand the journey from being a hopeful contestant on a stage to becoming a national music sensation
  • Kurt Hoggan: The visionary General Manager of Galleria Mall, whose leadership and dedication to community upliftment have transformed this retail space into a true launching pad for KZN’s rising stars.

More Than Just a Competition

What Galleria Mall has achieved with this platform goes far beyond a weekend show. Year after year, they’ve grown Galleria’s Got Talent into a premier community anchor that genuinely gives back, offering life-changing opportunities to help local creators chase their dreams.
